Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Cairo international airport; you will meet Misr Travel Tour manager who will escort you through customs and immigration. Transfer from the airport to your hotel by private air-conditioned deluxe coach.

After check-in, you are free to spend the rest of the day/evening at your leisure.

Day 2

Meet your Egyptologist guide this morning for a tour of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Visit the stunning pyramids complex of the great pyramid of Cheops, Chephren, Mykerinus and valley temple. Ride on camelback or horse carriage to see the enigmatic Sphinx, and visit the Solar Boat Museum, where you find the 142-foot-long funerary barge of Cheops. Stop for lunch at local restaurant, before driving to the Egyptian Museum, home to the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artefacts in the world, including the priceless treasures of  Egypt's most famous teenage king, Tutankhamen. View its famed Royal Mummy room, where nine mummified bodies of ancient royals can be seen on display including Ramses II. Continue to Coptic Cairo to Visit the Hanging Church of St. Mary and Ben Ezra synagogue. Next, stroll in Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, the most interesting local souk in the city’s old district.

Day 3

Transfer to Cairo airport for short flight to Aswan to board your luxury Nile cruise. After leisurely Lunch, start your tour with a visit to Aswan High Dam, engineering marvel; completed in 1970. Ride a motorized boat to Philae Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Isis and UNESCO world heritage site on the island of Agilika. The whole temple dismantled and relocated to its current site to avoid the dam flooding. Welcome cocktail reception and overnight in Aswan.

Day 4

Your cruise ship sails towards Komombo. Explore the fantastic dual-deity temple of the Ptolemaic Period is dedicated to both Haroeris (one of the oldest forms of the falcon-headed God Horus) and, appropriately enough, the fearsome Crocodile God Sobek. Return to the ship and enjoy lunch onboard as your luxury vessel continues its journey toward Edfu.visit the Temple of Horus the falcon-headed sun god. This is one of the most beautifully preserved temples surviving from the age of the pharaohs. Rich in design, intricate in detail and ingenious in its massive construction, the extraordinary quality of every element here attests to the paramount importance of the falcon-headed Horus. Celebrate Egyptian-style this evening, at a Galabeya party and dinner, Overnight in Edfu.

Day 5

After Breakfast and a leisurely morning onboard. You might wish to be on deck as the Sonesta traverses through the Esna Lock. You will view rural life, methods of irrigation, farming, and animals. Here you will be fascinated by the contrast and coexistence of the ancient and modern ways of life which adds beauty to the Nile and make cruising Egypt a compelling travel experience. 

After Lunch, tour the monumental temple complex at Karnak, the largest religious building ever constructed.  Walk through this extraordinary open-air museum and into the Great Court of the Great Hypostyle Hall of 134 columns and the sacred lake. Continue to visit the stunning temple of Luxor which was once connected Karnak temple via 2 kilometres long avenues of sphinxes. Overnight Luxor.

Day 6

Disembark after Breakfast. Begin your day of exploration with a journey to the famed location of over 64 tombs for pharaohs and nobles on the West Bank of the Nile. First, visit the famed tombs in the valley of kings and explore the beauty and mystery of King Tutankhamen, Ramses "the Sixth" tomb with its stunning decorations of the origins of heavens, Sun, Earth, Light and life itself. Continue to the rock-cut temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only female ruler, rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces, stop to take photo at the colossi of memnon, then leave luxor to hurghada (drive about 390 km), chech-in at your luxury hotel for a stay for 3 nights on Bed & Breakfast.

Your day free at leisure & you have the chance to make many optional tors like Giftun island by boat.
