Itinerary

Day 1

Upon arrival at Cairo international airport, you will meet Misr Travel Tour manager who will escort you through customs and immigration formalities. Transfer from the airport to your chosen hotel by private air-conditioned deluxe coach. After check-in, you are free to spend the rest of the day/evening at your leisure.

Accommodation: Stay for 02 nights at Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah / Sheraton Cairo Hotel

Day 2

Enjoy your Breakfast at the hotel, then visit the 4,500 years of the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. See the enigmatic Sphinx and the Valley temple. Stop for Lunch at a good quality local restaurant, before heading to the Egyptian Museum, among its many exhibits are the fabulous artifacts recovered from the tomb of King Tutankhamen & the fascinating Royal Mummies Room. Continue your tour to Coptic Cairo to see Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Hanging Church. Then stroll yourself into the winding alleys of the Khan el Khalili Bazaar.

Optional Excursion: Inner-King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid at Giza, $ 25 (purchased locally)

Day 3

This morning fly to Luxor to join the Nile cruise, spending the next four nights afloat. After lunch, your Tour Guide will guide you on a tour of the East Bank of Luxor, Visit the most impressive temples of Karnak and Luxor. Karnak temple is the greatest example of worship in the history of Luxor. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinxes and wonder at the incredible forest of giant pillars at the enormous Hypostyle hall; Continue to Luxor Temple which was once connected to the Temples of Karnak by a two-kilometer long Avenue of Sphinxes. The striking Temple of Luxor dedicated to the god Amun-Ra.

Day 4

This morning you will explore some of the most incredible sites in Egypt. You will visit the legendary Valley of the Kings, where 62 ancient Egyptian rulers buried there. Step inside the burial chamber of the boy king Tutankhamen that Archaeologist Howard Carter discovered in 1922 and view the king's heritage and the tomb 35-century-old walls (Tutankhamun tomb at extra ticket). West's bank touring also includes the spectacular Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only pharaonic female ruler, rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces. Also, stopover to photo at the Colossi of Memnon. Then you'll sail to Edfu, via Esna. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 5

After breakfast, enjoy a morning horse carriage ride from the ship to the beautifully preserved Temple of Horus, the Falcon God. Witness the grandiose set of reliefs depicting the annual ritual coronation of Horus the Pharaoh. Later, cruise to Kom Ombo and visit the only temple in Egypt dedicated to two gods: the crocodile-headed Sobek and the falcon-headed Horoeris, the Elder. Continue cruising to Aswan, past irrigated fields and palm-fringed villages. Celebrate Egyptian-style this evening, at a Galabeya party and dinner. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6

After Breakfast, drive out to the High Dam and visit the granite quarries where an Unfinished obelisk still lies attached to the bedrock. Then cross the Nile by motorboat to the well-preserved Philae temple complex, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple was dismantled and moved stone-by-stone to its current location to avoid the dam flooding. Enjoy sunset as you sail aboard traditional Nile felucca around Kitchener’s Island, the Aga Khan Mausoleum and botanical garden.

Day 7

Disembark your cruise in Aswan after Breakfast; today will be at leisure in Aswan. Alternatively, take an excursion by Air or Road to see the twin temples of Ramses II and his wife, Queen Nefertari at Abu Simbel. Transfer to the airport for flight back to Cairo. Meet upon arrival and transfer to the hotel for overnight.

After Breakfast, transfer in a private vehicle with Misr Travel Tour manager and check-in for your onward flight.

Prices are quoted in US Dollars per person per trip and valid till September 30, 2021, except during Christmas, New Year & Easter holidays.

Reservation & Cancellation policy

  • A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking and constitutes part of your final payment.
  • Full payment is due 30 days before the commencement of the tour.
  • The company has the right to cancel the booking if the payment is not received within this period. 
  • Tour prices and dates are correct at the time of the website going live, however, are subject to confirmation at the time of booking.
  • Misr Travel accepts the credit and debit cards (Visa and Master Card) as well as a wire transfer.
  • We charged no credit card fees or hidden surcharges.

Cancellation refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive cancellation requests per person.

The cancellation must be done by sending an email with 1) Name of the passenger 2) Passport number 

Cancellation fees.

  • 45 days before your arrival, 6% of the total tour price will be charged as a bank transaction fee.
  • From 40 to 30 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • From 29 to 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • From 14 to 7 days before your arrival date, 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • From 7 to 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged. 

Children Policy.

A: It differs from one tour to another.

  • 0 - 01.99 Free of Charge
    2 - 4.99 pay 25% of the tour price
    5 - 11.99 pay 50% of the tour price
    12+ pay full tour price as per adult person.

B: The policy is valid and applies to children sharing their parent’s rooms.

C: If the package includes Air Flight or Sleeping Train, then an extra charge applies as per the flight or train policy.

Single supplement:
This option is available for those who prefer traveling with others but prefer single accommodation. This will guarantee you your own room for every night of the tour. The number of single rooms we can offer is limited, so it’s best to book early.

Important Notes:
We highly recommend you book this trip as early as possible, preferably 50 days prior to departure. Reservations received within 30 days will be on request and subject to availability of accommodation.
