Day 01: Arrive Cairo - Egypt

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your family holiday! On arrival into Cairo international airport, you will be met by your Misr Travel tour manager who will escort you through customs & immigration. Transfer from the airport to your ( centrally located Cairo ) hotel by private air-conditioned deluxe vehicle.

Day 02: Giza Pyramids & Solar Boat Museum

Breakfast at the hotel and then meet your private Tour Guide for a tour of the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Chefren & Mykerinus. It is the only survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World Then see the enigmatic Sphinx and the Valley temple, the site for dead Pharaoh's purification and mummification. Then enter the Khufu boat museum and see the “Sun boat” that archaeologists discovered beside the Great Pyramid of Khufu in 1954. Climb up on camel or horseback for the ride of your life! The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the city on your own or take advantage of our optional excursions.

Day 03: The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities & Khan el Khalili bazaar

This morning enjoy a half day tour to the Egyptian Museum, where you will discover the world’s most extensive collection of Pharaonic antiquities, including the treasures of King Tutankhamen. View the famed Mummy hall, where nine mummified bodies of ancient royals are on display and learn about the culture and art of mummification in ancient Egypt. Combine fascinating history with shopping to the famous Khan el Khalili Bazaar. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Cairo airport for an afternoon flight to Luxor and your hotel overlooking the Nile.

Day 04: Karnak & Luxor temples

Luxor is known as the world largest open museum and is our base for two exciting days of exploration. This morning explore with your private Tour Guide the magnificent temples of Karnak, one of the most impressive sites in Egypt and the most significant religious complex built by man. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinx and through the Great Court into the Great Hypostyle Hall. Next, continue and visit Luxor temple which dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra in ancient Egyptian times. The afternoon will be at your leisure.

Day 05: Kings' Valley & Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

Breakfast at the hotel and then delve into the West Bank, the home of the famed Valley of the Kings and many Pharaonic tombs of the New Kingdom period. First stop will be at the Colossi of Memnon, the two huge seated statues of Amenhotep III. Touring will continue in the Valley of the Kings including the richly decorated tomb of Tutankhamen and Ramses "the sixth" which still hold the most vibrant colours and well-preserved structures. Explore the site of the imposing collonaded mortuary temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut. Late this afternoon, Set off on an adventure as you board a traditional wooden felucca and sail along the River Nile past the beautiful cultivated scenery of Upper Egypt to an island in the Nile. On returning to Luxor the rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 06: Red Sea

Transfer by air-conditioned deluxe coach to the Red Sea coast. After hotel check-in, the rest of the day will be at your leisure.

Prices are quoted in US Dollars per person per trip and valid till September 30, 2021, except during Christmas, New Year & Easter holidays.

Reservation & Cancellation policy

A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking and constitutes part of your final payment.
Full payment is due 30 days before the commencement of the tour.
The company has the right to cancel the booking if the payment is not received within this period.
Tour prices and dates are correct at the time of the website going live, however, are subject to confirmation at the time of booking.
Misr Travel accepts the credit and debit cards (Visa and Master Card) as well as a wire transfer.
We charged no credit card fees or hidden surcharges.

Cancellation refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive cancellation requests per person.

The cancellation must be done by sending an email with 1) Name of the passenger 2) Passport number

Cancellation fees.

45 days before your arrival, 6% of the total tour price will be charged as a bank transaction fee.
From 40 to 30 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
From 29 to 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
From 14 to 7 days before your arrival date, 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
From 7 to 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.

Children Policy.

5 - 11.99 pay 50% of the tour price
12+ pay full tour price as per adult person.

B: The policy is valid and applies to children sharing their parent’s rooms.

C: If the package includes Air Flight or Sleeping Train, then an extra charge applies as per the flight or train policy.

Single supplement:
This option is available for those who prefer traveling with others but prefer single accommodation. This will guarantee you your own room for every night of the tour. The number of single rooms we can offer is limited, so it’s best to book early.

Important Notes:
We highly recommend you book this trip as early as possible, preferably 50 days prior to departure. Reservations received within 30 days will be on request and subject to availability of accommodation.
