Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Cairo! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will meet Misr Travel tour manager who will escort you through customs and immigration formalities. Transfer from the airport to your hotel by private air-conditioned deluxe coach.

After check-in, you are free to spend the rest of the day/evening at your leisure.

Day 2

Discover the Giza archaeological site exploring one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Ride on camel or horseback and visit the Solar Boat Museum, site of Cheops’ funeral barge. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple called the temple of Mummification. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to visit Memphis the capital of ancient Egypt, the Necropolis of Sakkara, Cemetery of old kingdom Pharaohs, The Step Pyramid of Djoser

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3

Explore the Egyptian Museum with its incredible collection of antiquities and admire the richness of Tutankhamen's Funerary Furniture discovered by Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings in 1922. View the wrapped mummified pharaohs in the royal Mummy room featuring the remains of nine of ancient Egypt’s Pharaohs, including Ramses II. After lunch at a local restaurant, drive to the Sultan Hassan Mosque, one of the masterpieces of Mamluk architecture. Continue your tour to Old Cairo where you will enjoy the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Then stroll into the winding alleys of the Khan el Khalili Bazaar, the most typical oriental market in Egypt.

Day 4

After Breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo airport for flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your floating hotel for the next four nights cruise. After lunch, visit the most impressive temples of Karnak and Luxor

Karnak temple is the most excellent example of worship in the history of humankind and one of the most significant monuments of the pharaohs' legacy. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinxes and wonder the incredible forest of the Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 giant pillars. Continue to Luxor Temple via two-kilometre long Avenue of the Sphinxes. The striking Temple of Luxor dedicated to the god Amun-Ra.

Day 5

This morning you will explore the legendary Valley of the Kings, where 62 ancient Egyptian rulers lie buried including Ramses “the sixth” burial chamber with its vibrant colours and well-preserved paintings, as well as the tomb of the young king Tutankhamen, the famous Archaeologist Howard Carter discovered this intact tomb intact filled with treasures in 1922. West bank,s touring also includes the visit to the spectacular Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only Pharaonic female ruler. On the way, Stopover for a photo at the Colossi of Memnon, the only remains of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III. After your visits, enjoy the sailing to Edfu and crossing the Lock of Esna.

Day 6

After breakfast, enjoy a morning horse carriage ride from the ship to the beautifully preserved Temple of Horus, the Falcon God. Witness the grandiose set of reliefs depicting the annual coronation of Horus. Later, cruise to Kom Ombo and visit the only temple in Egypt dedicated to two gods: the crocodile-headed Sobek and falcon-headed Horoeris, the Elder. After the visit sailing to Aswan, past irrigated fields and palm-fringed villages. Celebrate Egyptian-style this evening, at a Galabeya party and dinner.

Day 7

After breakfast, drive out to the modern High dam and visit the granite quarries where an Unfinished obelisk still lies attached to the bedrock. Then cross the Nile by motorboat to the well-preserved Philae temple complex, World UNESCO heritage dedicated to the goddess Isis.T he temple was dismantled and moved stone-by-stone to its current location to avoid the dam flooding. Enjoy sunset as you sail aboard traditional Nile felucca around Kitchener’s Island, the Aga Khan Mausoleum and botanical garden.

Day 8

Disembark after breakfast and transfer to your flight to Cairo. You will be met and transferred by road to Alexandria, the pearl of the Mediterranean and the second largest city in Egypt. Lunch at the fish market restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Later, visit El Montazah gardens and the spectacular Royal Jewellery Museum.

Day 9

Today's full day tour of Alexandria includes the National Museum, with its artefacts that narrate the history of Alexandria throughout the ages. Then visit the Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shuqafa and Pompey’s Pillar. Proceed to visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina with its museums and the biggest library in the world. Lunch at a quality local restaurant, then drive along the Corniche and pass by Qaitbay fort, erected on the exact site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Day 10

After breakfast, drive along the Mediterranean coastal road for a stop in El Alamein. Visit the historic battle site of El Alamein and pay your respects to the British and Commonwealth soldiers who gave their lives during the Second World War, plus explore the small military museum that acts as a memorial for the battle and houses lots of original war vehicles, weapons, uniforms and records. Transfer back to Cairo.

Prices are quoted in US Dollars per person per trip and valid till September 30, 2021, except during Christmas, New Year & Easter holidays.

Reservation & Cancellation policy

  • A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking and constitutes part of your final payment.
  • Full payment is due 30 days before the commencement of the tour.
  • The company has the right to cancel the booking if the payment is not received within this period. 
  • Tour prices and dates are correct at the time of the website going live, however, are subject to confirmation at the time of booking.
  • Misr Travel accepts the credit and debit cards (Visa and Master Card) as well as a wire transfer.
  • We charged no credit card fees or hidden surcharges.

Cancellation refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive cancellation requests per person.

The cancellation must be done by sending an email with 1) Name of the passenger 2) Passport number 

Cancellation fees.

  • 45 days before your arrival, 6% of the total tour price will be charged as a bank transaction fee.
  • From 40 to 30 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • From 29 to 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • From 14 to 7 days before your arrival date, 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • From 7 to 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged. 

Children Policy.

A: It differs from one tour to another.

  • 0 - 01.99 Free of Charge
    2 - 4.99 pay 25% of the tour price
    5 - 11.99 pay 50% of the tour price
    12+ pay full tour price as per adult person.

B: The policy is valid and applies to children sharing their parent’s rooms.

C: If the package includes Air Flight or Sleeping Train, then an extra charge applies as per the flight or train policy.

Single supplement:
This option is available for those who prefer traveling with others but prefer single accommodation. This will guarantee you your own room for every night of the tour. The number of single rooms we can offer is limited, so it’s best to book early.

Important Notes:
We highly recommend you book this trip as early as possible, preferably 50 days prior to departure. Reservations received within 30 days will be on request and subject to availability of accommodation.

For the International flight it will be according to the type booking policy , & concerning the Internal flight you can have just 1 piece with maximum of 20 kilograms (international dimensions).
