Today your private expert guide will accompany you on a full day tour of the Pyramids complex. Visit the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Makyrenius and the valley temple. Ride on camel or horseback and see the enigmatic Sphinx. Explore the Solar Boat Museum, where you find the 142-foot-long funerary boat of Cheops. Enjoy lunch at a quality local restaurant before heading to the Egyptian Museum, home of the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artefacts in the world, including the priceless treasures of the famous teenage King Tutankhamen and Great Hall of Royal Mummies. Continue to the Coptic Cairo district to visit the Hanging Church of St. Mary and Ben Ezra synagogue. Next, stroll in Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, a bustling marketplace in the city’s old Islamic district.

This morning you fly early to Luxor to board the Nile cruise, spending the next four nights afloat. Enjoy lunch on board and then step ashore with your Egyptologist guide to explore the great Karnak Temples, the largest religious temple known to man. Stand before its massive pillars and admire the Hypostyle Hall, the largest hall of any temple in the world. Nearby, the Luxor Temple was built in the 14th century B.C and is connected to the Karnak complex by the awe-inspiring nearly 2-mile long Avenue of sphinxes.

This morning you will explore the legendary Valley of the Kings, where 62 ancient Egyptian rulers lie buried including the tomb of the young king Tutankhamen, the famous Archaeologist Howard Carter discovered this intact tomb intact filled with treasures in 1922. West bank’s touring also includes visit to the spectacular Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only Pharaonic female ruler. On the way, Stopover for photo at the Colossi of Memnon, the only remains of the funerary temple of Amenhotp III. After the visits enjoy the sailing to Edfu and crossing the Lock of Esna.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning horse carriage ride from the ship to the beautifully preserved Temple of Horus, the Falcon God. Witness the grandiose set of reliefs depicting the annual coronation of Horus. Later, cruise to Kom Ombo and visit the only temple in Egypt dedicated to two gods: the crocodile-headed Sobek and falcon-headed Horoeris the Elder. After the visit sailing to Aswan, past irrigated fields and palm-fringed villages. Celebrate Egyptian-style this evening, at a Galabeya party and dinner.

After breakfast, drive out to the modern High dam and visit the granite quarries where an Unfinished obelisk still lies attached to the bedrock. Then cross the Nile by motorboat to the well-preserved Philae temple complex, World UNESCO heritage dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple was dismantled and moved stone-by-stone to its current location to avoid the dam flooding. Enjoy sunset as you sail aboard traditional Nile felucca around Kitchener’s Island, the Aga Khan Mausoleum and botanical garden, Then, explore Kalabsha temple, the beautiful but overlooked Roman temple. It is dedicated to the fertility and Nubian Solar deity known as Mandulis, the Nubian counterpart of Horus.

Disembarkation after breakfast, Transfer from Aswan to Abu Simbel by air-conditioned vehicle to check-in on the Lake Nasser cruise. Lunch on board, upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your cruise boat that will be your home for the next three nights. Here you’ll board your 5 stars cruiser and have lunch on board before embarking on a guided tour of the mighty temples of Abu Simbel. Afternoon tea is served on the sundeck. In the evening enjoy the Sound & Light show at Abu Simbel temple, back to cruise & overnight.

This morning set sail on lake Nasser, the first of many hidden gems you will see Kasr Ibrim, an ancient Nubian citadel. Information about the site is provided from the ship’s sun deck as entrance to this site is not permitted, en route to Wadi el Seboua, explore the temple of Amada, the oldest of lake Nasser’s monuments and home to some of the most vibrant reliefs. Spend the remainder of the day enjoying a cocktail party and live music performances in the lounge bar on board.

The morning explore the temple of Wadi el Seboua which was dedicated by Ramses II to the two gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis. The temple features a Sphinx- lined avenue and was once converted to a church by early Christians. Returning to the ship. Relax and ship cocktails as you cross the tropic of cancer, bound for the Nubian city of Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.
