Citadel, Coptic & Islamic Cairo

Cairo is a wonferful city to explore! tour the most interesting landmarks of the Islamic, Coptic and Jewish places with your private Egyptologist guide. Start by visiting Old Cairo that known as Christian Coptic, the most important locations visited by the Holy Family where Jesus the Child took shelter in a cave above which the church of Abu serga (St. Sergious) was built. Also there you will be able to visit and enter the Church of St. Barbara, the Hanging church, and the old Jewish synagogue – Ben ezra synagogue. After lunch at a local restaurant, Continue your exploration to islamic Cairo that was founded in 641 A.D by the first muslim leader Amr Ibn Elaas, visit his Mosque and enter el sultan Hassan mosque that also known as 'Madrasa' the finest masterwork of Mamluk architecture. Then visit The citadel of Cairo where you can view the most famous mosque in Cairo which is Mohamed Ali`s mosque that known as the Alabaster mosque. Continue to Khan el Khalili bazaar, stroll into one of the city’s major souks (open-air marketplaces). Back to the hotel.

Cancellation Policy:

Misr Travel doesn’t charge a cancellation for tours and excursions cancelled for force majeure or reasons beyond control. You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund minus any administrative fees.
